Trio Energico

Those who fear that classical music is boring and corny urgently need to attend a concert by Trio Energico. With the energy and guts of a real rock band, Trio Energico turns classical music into a maelstrom of emotions. Violin, clarinet and piano compete with and against each other in the musical arena. The winner is undoubtedly the music, which captivates you fresh, clear and compelling.

Hekate Trio

Bruch, a Romantic master known for his lyrical and emotional works, composed his trios with a profound sensitivity to the silence, mysteries, and shadows of the night. The pieces exude an introspective calm, interwoven with moments of drama and brilliance. In this music, one can hear the echoes of a serene starry sky, whispering nocturnal winds, and the dreamy reflections of moonlight.

Carnets de Voyage

For the inaugural installment of this project, De Decker invited his long-time collaborator and “fetish musician,” clarinettist Raf De Keninck, for an unexpected journey. The two set out by car, heading toward the village of De Keninck’s youth—Rumst, Belgium. Unaware of the destination, De Keninck was brought face-to-face with his roots.

Lerchenmusik

The ripping power of silence, reflections, stillness, tearing up, endearing, comforting, aggressive, acceptance... all feelings and impressions that the work Lerchenmusik can generate. This magisterial work of no less than 47 minutes written by Hendirk Georecki has it all in it.

Caprices!

Niccolò Paganini, the renowned Italian violinist and composer, never wrote original caprices for the clarinet. However, his 24 Caprices for Solo Violin, Op. 1 are world-famous and often regarded as a cornerstone of virtuosic violin technique. Playing these caprices requires a complete reimagining of what it means to play the clarinet.
